2019-2020 SUMMER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

All students who plan to enroll in 1st through 12th grades this fall in a Lauderdale County School must register at the school they will attend during our Summer Registration week. This includes both new and returning students.

Registration forms can be picked up at each school or found on the Lauderdale County School District website at www.lauderdale.k12.ms.us. Please download, fill out, and print ahead of time in an effort to reduce wait time during registration. The online student registration form can be found under the Forms link to the left of this notice.

If you do not register during the above registration dates, your child WILL NOT be allowed to register until Thursday, August 8, 2019, (3rd day of school) UNLESS arrangements are made with the school PRIOR to July 15, 2019.

To enroll, each student should register at the school they are assigned to attend. Please bring the following pieces of documentation:

  • Incoming kindergarten students and all students who were not in a Lauderdale County School last year must provide a Certified Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, and Certificate of Immunization Compliance.
  • Incoming 7th-grade students must provide a Certificate of Immunization Compliance for the Tdap vaccination.
  • Court documentation of guardianship when enrolling a student as his/her legal guardian;
  • Two proofs of the following residency documentation.
    • Mortgage document filed homestead exemption, or property deed. If leasing, original home or apartment lease.
    • State of Mississippi Road and Privilege Tax. (Vehicle Tag Receipt)
    • One current utility (i.e. electric, water, gas, land phone) bill. Bills addressed to a PO Box will not be accepted. Cell phone bills will not be accepted. The utility bill must be within 30 days of registration.
    • An affidavit from the Assistant Superintendent’s office.
    • Any other documentation that will objectively and unequivocally establish that the parent or guardian resides within the school district (Driver’s License will not be accepted).
