Family Guides for Student Success

The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) and Lauderdale County School District are committed to supporting parents’ understanding of the learning process and providing them with the guidance needed to ensure their children become College and Career Ready.

MDE, in collaboration with classroom teachers, developed the Pre-K – 8 Family Guides for Student Success to assist parents with grade-level at home strategies and activities that support both student and parent understanding of the English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics Standards.
