Welcome to Lauderdale CSD

The Lauderdale County School District's mission is to educate all students so they can become competent contributing members of society. The LCSD is committed to meeting the needs of all students we serve as we prepare them to be productive, contributing members of our community. In this pursuit, we know students must have a passion or a desire for something – whether it’s academics, sports, or the arts. Today, the students at Clarkdale Elementary are pausing to remember — not just the tragedy of September 11th, but the courage, sacrifice, and unity that rose from it. This morning, a Southeast Elementary student was found in
possession of a toy gun while riding a school bus. School
administrators immediately addressed the situation and are
responding in accordance with district policies and procedures.
At no time was there a threat to students or staff.
