The Northeast High School Track & Field Team is the 2019 4A State Champion. The team won the title May 6th in Pearl. This is the first time the school's team has won the state title.
"We are very proud of these guys," says NEHS Principal Tim Moore. "They have worked so hard, and Coach Willie Bramlett has gone above and beyond to make sure the team was ready."
Members of the state championship team are D.J. McCory, Nicholas Coleman, Keiron Robinson, Tyler Smith, Brandon Brown, Paden Moore, Maurice Sutherland, Shaun Cosby, LaSanto Rowe, and Jaheim Smith.
