WLE Teacher Honored by NAS Meridian

Congratulations to Mrs. Sidney Clay at West Lauderdale Elementary for receiving the Naval Air Station Meridian Teacher Salute Award. She was presented the honor Commanding Officer Luke Davis. Mrs. Clay is an outstanding kindergarten teacher who is being recognized for her dedication to teaching, inspiring, and growing the hearts and minds of all students, especially military children. This award is given quarterly to teachers in Lauderdale County School District. Mrs. Clay is a military spouse as her husband serves in the Mississippi Air National Guard.
