Congratulations to Mrs. Angie Wilkinson from Clarkdale Elementary for being appointed to serve on the Mississippi Teacher Advisory Council. Mrs. Wilkinson teaches 6th grade at CES. She's one of almost 50 experienced and highly regarded professionals from across the state who have been chosen to serve on the council. The Northeast High School Trojan Pride Band is gearing up to march in an upcoming parade to honor Miss Mississippi Holly Brand. A parade honoring the WLE alum will take place on Saturday, August 14, in downtown Meridian. Click on the attached links for more details.

Attention, LCSD family! The first Distance Learning Day of the new school year will be this Wednesday, August 25th, and free meal home deliveries will be available on that day for our students. Please click on the attached link to request a meal delivery for your child on that day. The submission deadline for request is Tuesday, August 24, at 1 PM. NOTE: Request forms for students who attend West Lauderdale Elementary have already been submitted for deliveries on this day.
