WLHS Student Chosen for State Superintendent's Student Advisory Council
We're so proud that one of our own, Ashlan Williams from West Lauderdale High School, for having been chosen to serve on the Missississippi Superintendent's Student Advisory Council for the 2024/2025 school year. High school juniors may serve on the council for two years, while seniors serve for one year.
The council’s purpose is to provide a forum for Mississippi's students to offer an array of perspectives. The group's final meeting for the year was in April, and no doubt, Ashlan made a lasting impact with her voice and ideas.
