February is recognized annually as National Career & Technical Education Month. To celebrate, all 9th graders and first-year childhood education, construction trades, business marketing/finance and health science students at Northeast High toured Meridian Community College. Community involvement enriches the overall educational experience for our students. Here's one example from Clarkdale Elementary where each year the students raise money for a designated charity. This year's beneficiary was Roadside Rescue in Marion. Click on the attached link to learn more about the donation and the agency.

Meeting the needs of our students requires a collaborative effort. We want to offer a special thank you to all the parents, community partners and others who are helping to supply books for our students. Here's one example at Northeast Elementary.

Each month, teachers at Clarkdale Elementary are treated to something extra special, courtesy of parents. On this day, it was "NACHO" usual lunch for the group. To make your mouth water, click on the attached link.

It’s official. The Clarkdale softball teams have played their first games on the new field. In Spring 2022, two tornadoes destroyed the complex. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held when all the finishing touches are complete. However, the Lady Bulldogs aren’t missing a beat.

Action will resume on campus this season for the Clarkdale Lady Bulldogs. After being destroyed by two tornadoes, the team's new field is ready for play.
