Lauderdale County School District's guiding beliefs:

Based on these beliefs, the Curriculum Office has as its purpose to provide the support and resources that teachers need in order to provide quality classroom instruction.
Curriculum and Instruction works collaboratively with other departments, campus administrators, teacher committees and focus groups, and more in order to provide tools and resources for teachers, administrators, students, and other stakeholders including:
- New & Novice Teacher Mentoring
- Professional Development
- MTSS
- Counseling & Social Emotional Support
- District Pacing Guides and Common Assessments
- Dyslexia Therapists
- District Pre-K Program partially funded by the SIP Grant from MDE
- Instructional Aides & Tools (i.e., textbooks, digital resources, open educational resources, etc.)
- Instructional Technology (i.e., Canvas Learning Management System, MasteryConnect Formative Assessments, CASE Benchmarking, TurnItIn, i-Ready, ESGI, Rethink Ed, etc.)
