Welcome to Lauderdale CSD

The Lauderdale County School District's mission is to educate all students so they can become competent contributing members of society. The LCSD is committed to meeting the needs of all students we serve as we prepare them to be productive, contributing members of our community. In this pursuit, we know students must have a passion or a desire for something – whether it’s academics, sports, or the arts. This passion is the driving force that gives them one reason to come to school, and thus, they are more likely to experience success.

WLHS Special Message

Earlier today (9/12), the LCSD Safety Department activated the lock-down system at West Lauderdale High School. This caused a brief disruption while work was being done on the school’s Automated System. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

SEE Going Bananas: Faculty & Staff Treat

Administrators at Southeast Elementary are going bananas for the faculty and staff there! To reward their efforts, they served up a sweet surprise! Here's a glimpse at the banana split bar, which was loaded with treats and plenty of smiles. Keep up the #LCSDExcellence! #MaketheCase

CES Attendance Treats!

Sweet success! Many students at Clarkdale Elementary were able to cool off with some creamy ice cream sandwiches for rocking at least a 95% attendance rate during the first month of school. Keep showing up, shining bright, and making every day count! #LCSDExcellence in action! #FutureFocused

WLHS Pep Rally

The energy was off the charts at West Lauderdale High's U.S.A.-themed pep rally! From the booming cheers to the sea of red, white, and blue, it celebrated America. Get ready to feel the spirit and the excitement that filled the gym! Good luck in the big game, Knights!
